Family Man
We happen to run into our boy K.B. all the time on the streets. He's the owner of the SOON TO BE CLOSING Juice-Phoria down in Cross Street Market. This time he was with his adorably commanding daughter and her very fun cousin, so we pulled up along the side of the road and chatted a spell.

precision
So it all started one night, Mar, his sister Varria and I (Rashida, your storyteller) were hanging out at the Skye Lounge down by the Cross Street Market. We left around 1am or so, get to the car and we happen to see this brotha walking down the street carrying a bow.
Yes, a bow, like bow and arrow, bow. As you can obviously tell from the photo.
Anyway, Varria asked ol' dude about the bow (you gotta ask about the bow!) and he said he was willing to part with the bow for $5 (we have a $5 trend going on). He might have said he got the bow out of a dumpster (or maybe I'm just giving him the benefit of the doubt), however Mar jumped at the chance to buy it. Then the dude said,
"Can you throw in another dollar so I can get me another forty?"
What the hell! Mar and Varria paid the gentleman and bought a bow. Just then Mar's friend Marc drove up. We told him about the transaction and his response was:
"I got some arrows!"
So, a little while later, Mar and I were in a secluded area of a park with his newly acquired bow and arrows. Of course, being the skilled man that he is it didn't take him long to hit his mark!
big ol houses

This huge house is on the corner of Gwynns Falls Pkwy. & Garrison Blvd. This is just one of hundreds of big, old Baltimore houses falling to ruin in the middle of the city. Some properties are so dilapidated it's often hard to even tell which houses are occupied anymore.
Beautiful houses such as these are in such detriment because it has become entirely too expensive for those who grew up in Baltimore to maintain homes in the city; the rising energy costs alone make home ownership difficult.
Seeing the City - "little man stroll"
"Seeing the City" is our collection of random things and people we see in our day-to-day.

"Little man stroll"
While watching a great demonstration of Capoeira Angola - baltimorecapoeira.org - we saw this handsome little man. This was an open family event and he was the son of one of the participants. He had such a grown face (aside from the persistently runny nose) he was adorable.

"Love cuffs, I got your love cuffs, yo!"
Want to spark off that night of true romance and intimacy? Well, forget about a fancy-schmancy dinner and flowers, hell, forget about even buying $5 roses from lady on the corner. This innovative street corner hustler has what you need to really get the party started.
Love cuffs; handcuffs with a fuzzy red cover (to make them a bit gentler and sexier during the throws of ecstasy)! They come functional and complete with 2 keys (one for both of you of course) for just $5 (WHATCHUSAY!!!), that's right $5.
Yes I had to buy a set and they really are quite comfortable and durable....not that I have used them or anything.... ahem, yeah. Ok, bye now.
